Six week outreach

  • Week One of the outreach is all about advertising! IWE’s pastor and team make announcements throughout the village, going door to door and travel with loudspeakers advertising the coming week…”they can hear about Jesus!”

  • Week Two is Evangelism. Tuesday through Saturday the team preaches in the village from three to five o’clock in the afternoon. A showing of the “Jesus movie” is shown in the evening.

    Door-to-door ministry continues this week. The IWE team prays with people in the community, for their families and their sick.

  • Week Three is the beginning of discipleship! Those who come to faith spend this week being trained in what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

  • Week Four consists of building a church in the village. This building will hold 100 people and will also becomes the village community center.

  • Week Five is the baptism of new believers!

  • Week Six the IWE pastor and team will the community to the first church service.

 

Each church has an average of 75 people. The church appoints a leader for each of its four major care groups: men, women, orphans and widows and a homestead group, to empower and educate families grow crops and farm animals.
