Once IWE has entered a village or tribe, they look for opportunities to build up the community so it can reach its full potential. They want to see a “spiritual reformation” and see the community grow in its capacity to care for themselves effectively. Many times this means looking for ways to provide FREE clean water to the community. This is a deep need for most and it is believed that 90% of all diseases in africa are developed because of lack of clean water. IWE will, within its resources, dig and provide a well for clean water, distribute Bibles and plant a church and school.

90% of all diseases in Africa are developed because of lack of clean water

IWE looks to empower the orphans and widows in the community through micro finance projects. This looks like small business loans to widows, seeds, dairy animals and education for the community and tailoring projects.

Many tribes in Africa still practice female genital mutilation. IWEs heart is to one day have the resources to open safe homes for young women where they can receive education and empowerment.

There are also great needs for simple and clean medical. In some cases it can take two days for people to reach any sort of medical attention. IWEs vision is to provide educated and sustainable small medicine dispensaries, clean facilities for delivering babies safely, treatment for malaria and simple nutritional diseases and an ambulance system for communities in need.
